I received my initial training at The Gentle Healing School of Massage, which was known for training practitioners in the integration of both Eastern and Western bodywork modalities.  This school was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and was where I learned to understand the body BOTH from an anatomical and physiological perspective AND from an emotional and spiritual perspective. I received my training in Shamanic Energy Medicine via an intensive residential training program delivered at the Light Body School by the world-renowned 4 Winds Society, with campuses in California, Germany, and Chile. The Light Body School is considered the Harvard of neo-shamanism and was founded by Alberto Villordo, PhD.  In his teachings and writings (with multiple best-selling books), he shares the experience of infinity and its ability to heal and transform us, to free us from the temporal chains that keep us fettered to illness, old age, and disease. As shamans, we operate inside the context that health is not a medical intervention, but a life-long journey that transforms a person’s destiny.
